Well we once again made the trip to the Kentucky Derby! We had a blast and saw a great race from Big Brown and unfortunately a sad event with the tragic loss of Eight Belles. These animals are truly magnificent and I can only hope that this is just a tragic accident and something that we don't see again at our beloved Churchill Downs.
We did have a blast thought - the sun was shining, the mint juleps were flowing and the derby fashion was top notch!! Although we did have a blast this year - after a long weekend of recovering, I think we will be hosting a party next year! Here a few pics of our Derby 134 at the Downs!

Those two men in the middle of that picture sure are cute. They must have had a gorgeous mom - or at least all of her brains!
