Well we have been enjoying our new home very much and just tackled our first painting project in the house!! We have done some demo in the back house - and by we of course I mean Dan and company! It is definitely improving back there - at least the smell is anyway! All the carpet has been ripped out - the bathroom and kitchen totally gutted! I will get some update pictures of the back house up soon!!
The project we are almost complete with is our bedroom - we have painted it blue - a much more peaceful feel that the simple khaki! A few more embellishments and it will be complete! Thanks to a visit my mother in law last weekend and Martha Stewart we have new bedding - a small weakness of mine, OK maybe a major addiction that I could seek counseling for! I think it looks great - some pictures to be hung and we will be on to painting the other rooms. Our bathroom is next and then onto the guest room!! We are also hoping to get working on a brick patio in the backyard soon - so keep your eyes peeled for updates on that too.
