Indy Trip - Better Late than Never

Well it has been awhile since I updated - I think last weekend we were so overwhelmed that we had nothing to take pictures of - I felt that I had nothing to write about!! Not the case - we had a wonderful visit from Dan's mom - we got to shop and eat a wonderful meal at one of the many local restaurants - it was fab and the Guava Rum Mojitos were amazing too - good thing we only had one! It was great catching up with Karen and a reminder of how much more often we need to do it.

Well over the 4th of July weekend we headed up to Indy to visit with our family! We hit up an always amazing Tom Petty concert - quite similar to the last one Dan some how got separated from the group and found it impossible to find us among the 25,000 plus drunken concert goers! He did however manage to find his way back to the car - he always does!! At least a managed to snap a few shots before we got separated! We had a great visit in Indy catching up with the family, setting off fire works and grilling out - what else are you supposed to do over 4th of July weekend - us Brits never do too much celebrating so it was definitely fun! We had a chance to visit the our dear friends Ted and Caroline, but I think we were too in awe of 1 month old Jude to remember to get the camera out - he is truly fabulous and it is so wonderful to see our friends so happy and truly enjoying this new journey together!! When the time is right - I look forward to us sharing a similar journey of our own - when the time is right! Yes - that means parents who are reading the time has not yet approached.
