Birthday Kickoff!

Well we love celebrating our birthday week and we really kicked it off right this year!!We went and splurged on a DSLR Nikon Camera!! I am so excited! I absolutely love taking pictures and was really into it when I was in high school so I figure this is a great time to get back into it - especially with such a great subject to shoot!

I played around this morning with some pictures. I really need to read through the manual some more and just experiment. I need to play with the settings and stuff an d I am sure it will come back to me.

Not only did we get to splurge on the camera but we were blessed with Colts tickets!!! Our dear friends Ted and Caroline got stuck in Boston and were not going to be back in Indianapolis for the game! We were able to leave Emma with mom and dad and make the last minute trip to Indy for the second Manning Bowl!! What an amazing game! We had a blast and we were so lucky to be able to make it! So glad that they thought of us!!! So far a fabulous kick off to birthday celebrations.
