It is hard to believe that it is already October - time is truly just flying by!! I am already back to work and Emma is settling quite nicely in to daycare! We were able to find somewhere that we absolutely love - so it for sure makes dropping her off there easier!! That first day was extremely hard on all of us, but we made it through and I know it will just become part of our day to day routine. I must say right now as I get back into the swing of things at work it is hard for me not to spend the entire day thinking about her and going through all of my pictures of her on the computer!! Thank goodness my sweet mom sent over pictures of Emma to my office so they where here that first day! I can sit at my desk and pretend to be busy and just stare at my sweet baby girl!! Thank goodness she has settled in so well. They love her at daycare and they say that she acts like she has always been there! They really are great and I know she gets lots of love and attention when she is in their hands! As long as someone is there to love on her I know that girl is happy! It doesn't always have to be us.
We are lucky enough to have my mom and dad here to love on her frequently! Frequently enough that we have been able to get out with our friends a few times recently! Celebrated our friends big 30th celebration and a really close friend of mines big 40 last weekend! It has been great fun to get out with our friends and catch up on all things adult!!! I love every minute that we spend with Emma, but the balance to be able to spend time just the two of us with friends or just us is so important!! I know we have made it through these first 3 1/2 months because we are still able to focus on our relationship - now if I could just stay up past 10!! It is tough though!!!
We are off to Evansville this weekend and Dans family cant wait to spend some time with Emma - we are going to be at wedding celebrations all weekend so Dans mom is going to get some much needed one on one time with Sweet Baby E! I know she is counting down!!
